So grab some dodgeballs, gather your friends, and get ready for an exciting game of Tunnel Ball! Let’s see which team can knock down all the cones first!
How to Play Tunnel Ball: The Basics
-
Team-Based Passing: A team stands in a line, and players pass a ball between their legs to the player at the back. The last player then runs to the front and the process repeats. The goal is to be the quickest team to have the original front player back in the front position. If the ball goes outside the line, it must restart from the front.
-
Defensive/Offensive Version: Two teams, offense and defense, use dodgeballs to knock over cones. The offense stands outside a large circle and throws balls at cones in a smaller, inner circle, while the defense blocks the balls to protect the cones.
-
Underarm Rolling: Children pair up on either side of cardboard box tunnels and roll balls underarm through the tunnel to their partner.
-
Skill-Based Rolling: A player rolls a ball along a track through tunnels, trying to score the highest points. The tunnels get smaller further along the track.
